This custom stables project is located on a private ranch in the suburbs of California. The client is an experienced equestrian enthusiast with more than ten years of experience who is passionate about raising warmbloods and racehorses for training, recreational riding and competition.
The original stable structure was outdated with limited space, which was not convenient for the horses to move around and was not conducive to the client's management. In addition, the unventilated design resulted in poor air circulation inside the stable, which was not good to the health of the horses. These defects prompted the client to conduct a thorough renovation aimed at creating a more suitable environment for horses and equestrian activities.
After sufficient consultation, we proposed a design plan to the client. We suggested using galvanized steel frames and high-density bamboo panels with a modern European aesthetic style. The client emphasized that the stable should be both practical and beautiful. Therefore, we carefully selected a wave-style open front door. This design not only allows the horses to look out, interact with the outside world and communicate with each other, but also adds a touch of architectural elegance to the stable, making it stand out from the ranch.
The side panels adopt a matching wavy design, with smooth and beautiful lines, good ventilation and a certain degree of privacy. The all-bamboo back panel greatly improves practicality and safety.

The design cleverly incorporates a rotary feeding system for easy feeding. For the lower bamboo panels, we increased the spacing between the bamboo panels. This reinforcement is to enhance kicking resistance, as horses sometimes kick out, and this design can better withstand such impacts, ensuring the long-term use of the stable structure.
The galvanized steel structure is hot-dip galvanized. This process is critical because it ensures the long-term durability of the stable, even in California's humid and rainy seasons. The bamboo panels have multiple advantages. They are insect-resistant, mildew-resistant, environmentally friendly with long lifespan and require few maintenance which is ideal material for horse breeding environments and helps maintain a clean and healthy environment for horses.
Upon completion, the client was amazed by the craftsmanship and overall appearance of the stable: "This is not just a stable, but a work of art tailored for my horse. It meets all practical needs while enhancing the style of the ranch." Today, the stable is fully operational and has become a highly praised attraction. Visitors and riders are full of praise for its perfect combination of function and beauty.
Summary: This wave-shaped European luxury stable combines modern design aesthetics with an elegant appearance, and the smooth wavy outline highlights the European luxury texture. The interior space is spacious and transparent, with excellent ventilation concepts to ensure smooth air circulation and effectively dispel odors and moisture. From humanized layout to material selection, it creates a comfortable and healthy living environment for horses in all aspects, achieving a perfect balance between beauty and practicality.
